About our guest...

Alexander Greenawalt is a Professor of Law at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He was previously a clerk for the Honorable Stephen F. Williams of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Professor Greenawalt is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent Scholar and Articles Editor of the Columbia Law Review.

Professor Greenawalt’s research focuses on criminal law, international law, and the laws of war. He has taught Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, International Law, Administrative Law, International Criminal Law, United States Foreign Relations Law, and National Security Law. He is a two-time recipient of Pace's Goettel Prize for Faculty Scholarship, and a recipient of the Law School's Richard Ottinger Faculty Achievement Award.
